Writing: A daunting endeavor

That’s where I am now in the process of writing my first novel. I’ve completed the first draft, and received comments back from my brave beta readers. Now the next step is to “kill my darling,” to dig in, cut and splice, and re-create to make a better product.
With this concept in mind, it’s a good thing I began with a large “rock” of a book, so I have plenty to hone. Better than starting with a pebble!
It was necessary for me to write, I had to do it; as I wrote, it became possible, and now completing the impossible is within sight.
