My First Novel

I’ve been working on a novel for two years. Now I’m on the homestretch. My characters are telling me (they have a lot to say sometimes) that one book won’t tell their entire story, so it looks like this will be a series of three books.
I have about 15,000 more words to write to tie up the loose ends for a couple of plot lines, and to set up the lead-ins for the next book.
Soon the first draft will be off to my Beta readers, then back to me for a second draft before I send it to my editor. The clock is ticking…
