Art is Life

Today is National Workaholic’s Day. A certain modicum of labor is necessary to sustain our daily needs, ie food and shelter, but a life with only the necessities is joyless.
As a writer, if I don’t write, I am not alive. I put this sentiment into words in a haiku I penned for the upcoming High Country Headwaters IV anthology being produced by the High Country Writers of Boone, NC.
